Challenges

One of the key challenges faced during the installation was the presence of underground services, which posed risks of costly disruptions and delays. Under the leadership of Chris Porte, Head of Electric Vehicle Charging, the team adapted by redesigning the layout to route works overground, ensuring an efficient and streamlined installation process while mitigating risks.

  • Installed over 160 metres of Armco double-stacked barrier, a significant undertaking to enhance site safety and charger protection.
  • Delivered a high-quality, future-proof EV charging solution that supports Currys’ growing electric fleet.
