Remedials for leading brewery
One of the UK’s largest Facilities Management companies, listed in the FTSE 250, called in Metcor Environmental for urgent remedials for a client of theirs.
A major brewery company had started to experience infiltration of effluent from its drainage system into two culverts that ran through the West of England site.
Next Step:
The investigations that followed comprised over a dozen personnel, plus the deployment of a confined entry team, and specialist camera works. Eleven colleagues conducted a detailed walk-through of the 200-metre culvert and discovered several areas of corrosion.
Solution:
Metcor Environmental designed and developed a proposal for appropriate remedial works. These were accepted and in the following days repairs and remedials works were completed. After they were checked and signed off, Metcor were engaged for planned preventative maintenance, and for ongoing project works.
