Remedials FAQs
A guide to some of the most commonly asked questions around remedial works.
What are pump remedial works?
Pump remedial works involve repairing, refurbishing, or upgrading pump systems to restore full performance and reliability. This can include mechanical repairs, electrical component replacement, or system optimisation. Remedial works are usually picked up following a Planned Maintenance (PPM) or emergency callout visit. However, you may detect non-emergency issues on site (e.g. reduced flow rates, inconsistent pressure) that indicate remediation is required. Speak to our team today if you would like to learn more.
Can pumps be repaired on-site, or do they need to be removed?
Many issues can be resolved on-site, but certain repairs, such as full overhauls or major component replacements, may require workshop facilities. We’ll always advise the most cost-effective and minimally disruptive approach.
Do you provide replacement pumps if mine can’t be repaired?
Yes. If repair isn’t feasible or cost-effective, we can specify, supply, and install suitable replacement pumps, ensuring compatibility and improved system performance. We can also provide temporary pumps while we carry out necessary repairs.
