The Role

Have you got some experience working in a generalist HR or People Development Coordinator role?

Would you thrive in a newly created position that can offer plenty of autonomy with potential for career progression?

We are actively recruiting for a People Development Coordinator to join the team due to substantial company growth. The main purpose of this role is to support the Group HR Manager with all the employee onboarding, training and employee relations.

This is a full time PAYE position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing training needs across all departments and working with Department Managers to facilitate and organise.
  • Creating and implenting the onboarding and offboarding process, enabling a positive experience for all new starters.
  • Providing streamlining solutions for all employee onboarding processes as a People Development Coordinator.
  • Handling all data and documentation as sensitively as possible for all employees, enrolling them onto the company benefits scheme.
  • Undertaking thorough DBS and vehicle checks for all new starters prior to joining.
  • Working with the wider Business Unit to create regular employee engagement to enrich the overall employee and business culture.
  • Measuring and improving employee satisfaction metrics as a People Development Coordinator.
  • All other Human Resources Coordinator and Employee Relations responsibilities

The Person

  • Possess previous experience carrying out HR & People management tasks in a similar HR level.
  • Ideally hold a CIPD qualification or at least be working towards one, however this is not essential.
  • Be proficient in computer literacy, such as use of MS Office and ideally Smartsheet.
  • A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
