Announcing the acquisition of Aylesford Electrical Contractors (AEC)

Metcor Group is today announcing its acquisition of a majority stake in Aylesford Electrical Contractors. AEC is a leading electrical specialist serving the commercial and industrial property sector. Founded by David Friend in 1979, the business has grown into a trusted testing, inspection and installation partner to industrial sites, critical infrastructure networks, retail locations and many more commercial premises around the UK.

AEC delivers compliance-driven testing, inspection and remediation of electrical installations (from lighting columns to lightning protection devices). It also serves the rapidly growing market for sustainable solutions, as a preferred installer of leading EV charging products, and a partner for solar panel (PV) installation and maintenance.
